Max Wi-Fi

Max WiFi are the nominated Data Communications contractor to Tobacco Dock. Whilst basic complimentary WiFi is available throughout the venue, Max WiFi can provide WiFi upgrades, hard-wired connections, VoIP Phone Connections and optional on-site Engineering support. The venue is fed by a primary 10Gb Fibre-Optic WAN Connection. There is a secondary back-up 1Gb Fibre-Optic WAN Connection. There is automatic failover in the highly unlikely event of the primary connection failing. The WAN Connections are diversely fed into the building via different routes to provide added resilience. The WiFi network which contains over 100 Wireless Access Points has recently been updated to the WiFi 6 standard which offers a more responsive user experience, faster speeds from the WiFi Access Point to the user device, increased security & reduced battery consumption for mobile devices. This makes Tobacco Dock one of the best-equipped venues in the UK.
