Accessibility

Here at Tobacco Dock we are dedicated to providing truly extraordinary experiences for every person that comes through our doors.

Tobacco Dock is a Grade 1 listed warehouse constructed around 1812. The space comprises a vast number of individual event spaces arranged over two levels, with a mix of cobbled stone and carpeted floors, and a network of corridors and staircases. Many events do not occupy the whole venue, and we often have multiple events taking place at the same time.

We are a dry hire venue and as such, incoming event organisers are empowered to make decisions around accessibility with the full support of Tobacco Dock. If you have any access requirements and require additional support, please reach out to the event organiser and also copy in access@tobaccodocklondon.com.

MAP – TOILETS & LIFTS

The accessible toilet facilities (green) and lifts (purple) are detailed on the maps below. Which facilities are in use will depend on the location of the event. If you require the use of these facilities, please reach out to the event organiser and also copy in access@tobaccodocklondon.com, we will be able to clarify which facilities are in use for your event.

RAMPS

In areas where step free access is restricted, temporary ramps are available and can be deployed by trained members of staff. If you require the use of a temporary ramp, please contact access@tobaccodocklondon.com. On the day of an event, you can also speak to a member of staff who will be happy to assist.

DOGS

GUIDE DOGS

Tobacco Dock welcomes all Guide and Assistance Dogs. Guide and Assistance Dog owners have important rights under the Equality Act 2010 meaning they are legally permitted to enter establishments where the public are admitted.

If you wish to advise us of your planned visit, please contact access@tobaccodocklondon.com.

PERSONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS

The wellbeing of our visitors is important to us and therefore we endeavour to welcome personal support animals to the venue during events. Some events may however have restrictions, where the organiser may have assessed that the specific nature of the event would not be a suitable environment for support animals.

To support visitors wishing to bring personal support animals to the venue and to ensure smooth entry for those animals, we ask visitors to contact the event organiser directly in good time ahead of the event and copy in access@tobaccodocklondon.com.
