The Event

ClearScore hosted two separate but related events at Tobacco Dock, featuring a Partner Conference on day one and a Team Day on day two.

The Partner Conference brought together key partners, senior leadership, business development, and client-facing teams for crucial updates and inspiring talks by high-profile speakers, including Dame Kelly Holmes and notable figures from the worlds of banking and politics. Content highlighted ClearScore’s current initiatives, with engaging presentations and a surprise appearance by Moose, the company’s beloved dog mascot as featured in their advertising campaigns.

Meanwhile, the Team Day focused on uniting and energizing staff, offering productivity workshops, yoga and breathwork sessions, and insightful discussions from senior leaders, blending learning with relaxation.

Facilities and facts

Dry hire model

The ClearScore team loved the creative flexibility the dry hire model of the venue offered them, allowing them to tailor the spaces precisely to their needs

Versatile spaces

The two days were very different in terms of content. The versatility of the venue allowed them to adapt the spaces to fit both days' activities

Dream team

The organisers were delighted with the supportive working relationship they were able to foster with the Tobacco Dock team, helping their logistics run seamlessly

Why Tobacco Dock?

When selecting a venue, ClearScore sought a setting that wouldn’t feel like a conventional conference centre. Tobacco Dock’s distinctive brickwork, wooden beams, and architectural character offered a refreshing alternative, providing a unique and memorable atmosphere that they could use as a characterful background to their creative branding.

‘Key for us was the venue’s dry hire model,’ said a representative from the ClearScore team. ‘This allowed for significant flexibility, enabling us to tailor the space precisely to our needs.’

From the initial contact with the Tobacco Dock team and throughout the project, the ability to customise and add spaces to create the ideal footprint was invaluable, especially as the event developed and evolved throughout the planning process.

With two distinct days of diverse activities the range of capacities and room styles on offer meant that ClearScore were able to build a well-thought out and inviting delegate journey on both days. With multiple entrances at the venue, we were able to give them a private entrance solely for their event.

The End Results

Day One
Day one brought together ClearScore’s partners along with members of its senior leadership and commercial business development teams. Attendees entered the event through the Pennington Street East entrance and proceeded to the North Vaults Courtyard for registration. Catering stations were conveniently set up in both the North Vaults and upstairs in East Mall Square.

The day began with a plenary session in the Little Gallery, featuring an impressive lineup of high-profile speakers who shared insights on ClearScore’s initiatives and the broader macro environment. The agenda then split into three focused sessions exploring key themes: Government, AI, and Financial Wellbeing, with breakouts held in the East Mall spaces. Lunch was served in East Mall Square, followed by the highly anticipated annual keynote speech and an end-of-day team celebration at our on-site bar.

An expo was also hosted in North Vaults 1 & 6, where partners ran demo stations to showcase their latest products and innovations.

Day Two
The second day was an internal event for ClearScore’s teams, offering a more informal and collaborative atmosphere. The agenda centred on team building and well-being, with activities such as productivity workshops, yoga and meditation sessions, and inspiring talks from ClearScore’s senior leadership team. A main plenary took place in Little Gallery and workshops were held in the East Mall spaces.
