With 57 spaces over 16,000sqm and a maximum capacity of 10,000 people, we can host all sizes of tech events. Our adaptable space will suit all aspects of your hackathon such as the Great Gallery for the main event; Little Gallery which is presentation perfect; East Mall which can function as an area for sponsors to showcase their products and hold immersive experiences; and loads more spaces for meetings, workshops, storage and anything else you can think of.

Don’t Wi-fight over bandwidth or sock-it to someone over plug spaces! Our technical and AV capabilities are suited to everyone so your event can run smoothly, and our meeting rooms offer Apple TV and HDMI connections as well as large flat-screen TVs. Our data connectivity can handle the most demanding of users: our standard Wi-Fi provision can support up to 8,000 devices all streaming and downloading simultaneously, and we offer bespoke (and ultra secure) Wi-Fi packages on request.
Food is Fuel
With Tobacco Dock’s multi award-winning in-house catering team, Tobacco Dock Food, we can together to develop the perfect menu to ensure that your hackathoners’ engines are running at max capacity throughout your event. Whether you’re looking for typical gamer fuel of pizzas and wings, or something altogether healthier and fresher such as sushi or street food, our team can help you build the menu to suit your crowd.
Brain Break
It is a hackathon not a hackasprint so regular breaks are essential to recharge and regroup your thoughts. We have a whole host of entertainment suppliers perfect for technology-focused events like LED light acts, arcade games, and interactive workshops so your attendees avoid information overload. Putting a smile on everyone’s faces will help them to relax and de-stress to improve morale and keep them burning the midnight oil. Our rooftop bar and seasonal playground, Skylight, also offers the chance for some fresh air and a quick game of croquet or pétanque in the summer and ice skating in the winter.
Powering Down
Boasting loads of natural daylight, the Quayside Bar and Quayside Breakouts are perfect places to chill and take a break from all the energy and action. Furthermore, with environmental control and partial roof blackout in the Quayside Breakouts, a powernap is no problem meaning attendees can keep their motors running.
Your hackers can celebrate their successes (or drown their sorrows!) at our rooftop bar Skylight, with a view of the City of London, home to many top tech companies, in the background.
