Making the most of the branding opportunities!

The Event

Klaviyo’s K:LDN is the flagship stop on the brand’s European roadshow, bringing together its customers, partners, prospects and team members for a day of learning, connection and celebration. Now in its fourth year, the event has grown steadily in both scale and ambition, attracting users and prospects from across Europe.

In 2025, K:LDN delivered its biggest edition yet, with more than 20 speakers from leading brands, industry experts and Klaviyo’s own thought leaders delivering keynote presentations, fireside chats, panel discussions and product updates.

While community building was a key focus for the organisers, the event also played a strategic role in inspiring prospective customers to join the Klaviyo network.

The agenda balanced high-impact keynote sessions with interactive breakouts, dedicated networking opportunities and stand-out moments designed to surprise and delight, from a podcast studio and (very popular!) branded grabber machines to a lively drinks’ reception in the sunlit Great Gallery Courtyard.

What we loved

Vibrant mix of formats

Their content was shared in a kaleidoscope of ways, from inspiring keynotes to intimate fireside chats and interactive product sessions

Strong brand integration

The Klaviyo team made full use of the branding opportunities available, from angled trusses and billboards to branded activities that encouraged networking

Adaptability

Adjusting catering layouts and adding cooling zones in response to the day's weather, the versatility of our venue came into its own

Why Tobacco Dock?

K:LDN had outgrown their previous venue and needed a space that could not only accommodate future growth but also provide the flexibility and branding potential to create an unforgettable experience. Tobacco Dock ticked both of those boxes.

Our versatile range of spaces gave Klaviyo the opportunity to design a compelling journey for guests, ensuring smooth traffic flow while keeping the content and networking moments distinct. It also provides the option to increase their tenancy in subsequent years here, developing and growing their event and adjusting their delegate flow and experience. As well as plenary space large enough to accommodate all their attendees, there were a range of breakout rooms to accommodate Skills Sessions, Partner Booths and Growth Groups.

The venue’s many branding opportunities gave them plenty of scope to let their brand shine, while the wealth of indoor and outdoor spaces made it easy to adapt the plan in response to unseasonably hot weather, including relocating catering area, using the indoor/outdoor spaces to full effect.

Brand visibility was a key priority, with Tobacco Dock’s multiple touchpoints allowing Klaviyo and its sponsors to make a big visual impact. From angled trusses in East Mall Square to bold billboards and extensive courtyard dressing, the environment reflected the vibrancy and ambition of the event.

Convenience was another plus: with Klaviyo’s London office just a short walk away, the location made logistics simple for the organising team and familiar for many attendees.

Ground level

The bulk of the event took place on our ground level, with keynotes taking place in the Great Gallery, breakouts across GGA, East Mall 1, 3, 4 and Quayside 1, 3, 4, 5. Little Gallery was home to exhibition space and catering, while other catering areas were placed in Quayside and Great Gallery Courtyards, East Mall Square and East Mall 2. Entrance was through the Wapping Lane gates onto Quayside Walkway and then into Quayside 6 for registration while the cloakroom was in Quayside 7. The rest of the spaces included an Organiser's Office in QS2, Prayer Room in East Mall 6, crew catering in East Dock 6 and storage in East Dock 5.

VIPs were hosted in the East Dock Meeting Suite and East Dock 1-5 was Green Room space.

The End Results

The K:LDN experience began at the Wapping Lane gates, where guests flowed from registration in Quayside 6 through the cloakroom and onwards to East Mall Square for catering. As numbers grew, the Little Gallery was opened to house the expo, maintaining a steady movement of people through the venue.

Breakout spaces hosted customer education sessions, product updates, and panel discussions, while the Great Gallery set the stage for headline keynote speakers. Courtyards became social and refreshment hubs, with the Great Gallery Courtyard acting as the anchor for catering and later transforming into a buzzing drinks reception space complete with DJ booth, to close the day.

The carefully choreographed schedule moved guests seamlessly between keynote moments, interactive sessions and relaxed networking. The event built to a high-energy finale, with advertising guru Rory Sutherland delivering a show-stopping closing keynote before attendees spilled into the courtyard for a two-hour ‘Kocktail Hour’ celebration.

With its strategic use of space, strong brand presence, and attendee journey designed for engagement, K:LDN 2025 at Tobacco Dock was a resounding success, so much so that plans are already underway for its return next year.
